| EEG during TMS stimulation |
ANT offers a complete and turnkey solution for the recording of EEG in combination with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) stimulation. The system is fully compatible with the TMS devices from Magstim, Medtronic and Nexstim. Case studies and more detailed information about our TMS compatible EEG solution will be added soon. Some results of a recent recording are shown below. The motor activation following the TMS stimulation is clearly visible. More over, this results shows that asa-lab is very suitable for combined TMS-EEG recordings. The techniques for filtering and artefact correction of the data are build in the asa-lab Experiment Manager which makes the data treatment extremely convenient and fast. Example - EP averages, latency 8 to 40 ms after TMS stimulation
EEG data was high-pass filtered and corrected for TMS artefacts. Each TMS stimulus was checked for additional artifacts (suchs as muscle activity or eye blink) before averaging. Trials which should low EMG activity were rejected as well. TMS stimulation was carried out using a Magstim 200(2) system. | ||||
