The Waveguard Cap is the latest and most advanced cap available at this moment. It utilizes special shielded electrode leads which are bundled in light-weight and flexible cable (one cable per 64 leads) that connects
easily to all of ANTs amplifiers through a high-density connector. Small Ag/AgCl electrode elements provide high-quality and stable recordings. Due to the special design of the electrode-holders application time of the cap is much faster compared to conventional caps and makes the cap more comfortable to wear. Main features: - Active noise cancellation due to shielding of each lead - Small Ag/AgCl electrode-elements for high-quality and stable recordings - Short application time (typically 15 minutes for 128 channels) - Comfortable cap. |  |
Electrode layout & cap sizes The Waveguard cap is available in different electrode layouts. One according to the international 10-5 electrode system, and one according to a equidistant hexagonal layout. The minimal layout available is a 10/20 system. Each cap is available in sizes starting at 44 cm head circumference to 62 cm (refer to the size chart for Waveguard for more detailed information). Waveguard caps for neonates are available as well.
