Use of eego mylab to bolster brain research in Iceland

A 256-channel eego mylab was revealed at the inauguration of the new Icelandic Neurophysiology Center at Reykjavik University.

The new neurophysiology center is aiming to bolster the importance of neuroscience, cognitive psychology (e. Cognitive science) and biomedical research in Iceland. With the high resolution EEG data the researchers will be able to examine the underlying patterns of normal and abnormal brain activity that define brain disorders such as epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease and stroke. Additionally, the use of the latest technology will open new alleys for education and research in the fields of clinical psychology, engineering and sport science.
