Correction of statement in a publication mentioning eegosports

Recently a paper was published giving opinion on some of the currently available high-density mobile EEG systems suitable for use in studies that require physical movements. eegosports was one of the three mobile EEG systems that were evaluated. We have noticed a small mistake in the description regarding eegosports which we would like to correct.

According to the publication all incoming data is being stored on a remote computer. To avoid confusion regarding the location of where the recorded data is being stored, we would like to correct the statement. All recorded data is being stored directly on the tablet which is being carried in the backpack together with the amplifier. This aspect has a great advantage in prevention of data loss. As the amplifier and the tablet are being connected directly to each other, the data transfer process does not depend on the quality of wifi or Bluetooth connection and therefore the data is always safely stored on the tablet. Additionally, the energy consumption of the tablet is low and therefore generation of heat is very limited. The second computer is optional and can be used for online monitoring of the incoming data stream but does not facilitate data storage.
